Meghann Papa

Senior Associate
Meghann Papa is a Senior Associate in Hall Payne Lawyers’ Employment and Industrial Relations team, based in the firm’s Sydney office.

Meghann has experience representing employees across a broad range of employment and industrial matters, with a strong focus on achieving fair and equitable outcomes. Prior to joining Hall Payne Lawyers, she worked at a private employment law firm in Sydney acting for employees, and in the trade union movement as an Industrial Officer with the Australian Maritime Officers Union and the Transport Workers Union.

Through this experience, Meghann has developed a practical and strategic approach to resolving workplace issues. She regularly advises and represents clients in matters including wage recovery, workplace and industry disputes, unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination, and contract and enterprise agreement negotiations. Meghann is committed to guiding clients through complex legal processes with clear, outcome-focused advice, and works to achieve results that support both their immediate and long-term interests.

Her work in employment and industrial relations reflects a strong commitment to improving workplace conditions and supporting individuals in navigating challenging situations.

Meghann is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia and is a member of the New South Wales Law Society.
