Jessie Browne

Solicitor
Jessie completed her law degree at the University of Tasmania in 2022 while working at the Hobart office of Hall Payne. In 2023 Jessie joined Hall Payne’s Brisbane office as a graduate

Jessie has a background in science, having studied geology at the University of Melbourne, which can give her a unique perspective on the issues that arise in legal practice.

‘I am always considering different ways to present information to make it as easy to take in as possible’.

Although she commenced her law degree in 2019, Jessie started working in the legal industry as an accounts clerk in 2015 and has experienced a number of different areas of practice. Employment law appeals to Jessie because of how rewarding it is to secure great results for people who have been treated unfairly at work.

Jessie is a proud member of the Australian Services Union and has previously volunteered at the Tenants Union of Tasmania.
