Migration Agent, Paralegal
Leanne Taylor is a Registered Migration Agent and Paralegal at Hall Payne Lawyers, with more than 25 years’ experience across the firm’s Queensland offices. She works in migration law and superannuation and insurance claims, supporting clients through complex legal and administrative processes.

Since 2003, Leanne has assisted clients from diverse countries and backgrounds with visa preparation, visa applications, appeals, and related migration matters. Her experience includes preparing submissions for the Administrative Review Tribunal (Migration and Refugee Division), ministerial intervention requests, and assisting with matters involving visa refusals, cancellations, character issues, health concerns, and other complex eligibility matters. She is committed to guiding clients through what can often be a challenging and rapidly changing legal landscape.

Since 2015, Leanne has also led the firm’s Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) and Income Protection (Salary Continuance) insurance claim work. In this role, she assists clients to navigate superannuation insurance processes, prepare supporting documentation, and communicate with insurers to help reduce stress during difficult periods. Her focus is on ensuring claims are prepared thoroughly to maximise the prospects of a successful outcome.

Leanne has successfully assisted clients in gaining visas and overturning visa refusal decisions, including matters involving criminality-based visa cancellations and citizenship refusal decisions. She has also achieved successful outcomes in Administrative Appeals Tribunal review applications, including cases where documentation, genuine relationship status, character concerns, student status, or health issues were in dispute.
